Info Myanmar College (IMC), the computing arm of IMCS Co., Ltd., which has successfully delivered professional qualification courses since 2007, was established in 2014 with a strong commitment to firmly pillar the educational requirements of a knowledge-based society through transforming digital economy in Myanmar. In 2019, IMC was promoted to Info Myanmar University (IMU) following approval from Myanmar Investment Commission (MIC).

Info Myanmar University collaborates as partnership with Edinburgh Napier University, UK, aims to deliver the B.Sc. (Hons) in Computing that has strong reputation teaching practical skills and to make graduates employable.
In March 2024, Info Myanmar University successfully launched the MSc in Information Technology in collaboration with SEGi University, Malaysia, one of the world rank Universities.
In August 2024, Info Myanmar University got approval of the Ministry of Education which is the very first in the education history of Myanmar as one of the colleges in private sector.
